I am happy to report that overall, the children were well-behaved while Rusty & I were gone. They were all in one piece, they only texted me one time (tattling) & the house was relatively clean!!
(I know the REAL reason they "got along": so that Rusty & I might decide to go away again & leave them home "alone"!!) They all slept out in the living room, and most of them stayed up until midnight (or later)--including Benjamin. Emmalee went to sleep the "earliest"--at 11 pm!
On a potty-training (not) note: Benjamin isn't quite making it to the toilet lately. In fact, he tells me that is where he is supposed to potty/pooh, but then is fine with going in his pull=ups.
Today, I told him to get a new pull-up because his was wet, so he detoured to the bathroom, climbed onto the toilet, and proceeded to go potty--but just as he started going (he was sitting down), he decided to aim outside of the toilet & made a "wonderful" mess. Grrrrr--I wish my bathroom didn't have carpet!!
