Rusty & I were out at our land (on a mini-date) & we thought we left a relatively quiet & peaceful house.
Zane, Emmalee & Callum were playing a new church game "Speak it Not" (like Taboo).
Zane called Emmalee a name because she didn't get an answer & Ethan wacked Zane with a magazine to get him to stop.
Then toys went flying at Ethan, & one connected with his check bone.
And yes--this happened on Sunday.................while the kids were playing a CHURCH game.
The same day I was called to be the Primary President.
You think the kids could get "along" for more than a few minutes!!!
Yes--that's right. I am now the Primary President. YIKES!! I haven't been released from my other callings yet (primary chorister & cub master), but I have been assured I will be as soon as they replace me.
Today (Monday) the honking-big goose egg swelling has gone down, but his eye is more black & blue than yesterday.
Ethan didn't want me to take any pictures, but I talked him into it. So I decided I was just going to post all of them.
And he had to endure a lot of ribbing from EVERYONE at school--about his little brother giving him a black eye.
I am just thankful that Zane doesn't have a broken arm or leg!! I did hear that Zane did get a good spanking from Ethan ☺
