Lander--Part 3

Brienna tried on my wedding dress.  She looks beautiful!  But I was definitely build differently than she is.  She has a bigger rib-cage than I did 20 years ago.
One of Laurie's presents.
Callum wearing the hat that Aunt Sherrie knitted.  She knitted hats for all of the kids.
 Brienna's--it matches her shirt!
Zane & Brienna
 Silly kiddos
A beautiful afghan Sherrie knitted for Pamela.
 Rusty's hat--they will keep everyone's head nice & warm!
Emmalee is holding the elephant Sherrie made for me.  We couldn't get Benjamin to put his hat on for this family picture.
Me holding the elephant Sherrie knitted for me!  It is awesome!
Our family friend, Tanny & Ben & Brienna showing off their hats.
 Nice
Tanny & Orley Pitt visiting with us.

I gave Emmalee, Brienna & myself a hair cut.
What a cutie!

More Fun in Lander (Part 2)

We all went to the church to play some ball (and get some energy out!)
Brienna pulled her hair up into an awesome pony tail.
 Alyssa & Brienna
 Callum
Aunt Pamela joining in with pass the ball.
Benjamin following the girls (Emmalee & Kailey) as they played follow the leader on the lines.
Daddy holding Benjamin up high so he could get closer to the basket.
 Nice shot, Ben!
 Benjamin & Mom playing "roll-the-ball"
Kailey all ready to play in the snow.
Don't you lover her "homemade" boots? Since she didn't have any boots, we put a couple of pair of socks over her shoes & pant legs so she could play in the snow without getting too wet.
Zane building a fort--preparing for a snowball fight.
Benjamin isn't waiting for the fort to be finished--here he comes with some snow! (Alyssa is making a snowball too)
 Wow--up to Emmalee's knees.
Callum behind one of the forts.
Benjamin with a chunk of snow almost as big as he is--and he is looking for a target.

And the target is-----Aunt Pamela!
"I think there's a big enough chunk for another good throw at her!"
The girls made an adorable snow princess, but I can't find any pictures on my camera--maybe Pamela has one on hers?

Trip to Lander--Part 1

Monday, December 26th we headed to Wyoming.  We actually left before 9 am!  Pretty good (2 hours to get loaded/snacks/drinks,etc.)
Brienna was able to drive in Idaho--her first time driving (without her instructor) out of Dubois!
She did a great job--luckily the weather was great & the roads were dry. She forgot sunglasses, so (lucky her) she was privileged enough to wear mine!
We had Benjamin & Callum with us in the van.  Rusty had Zane & Emmalee.
Benjamin finished "reading" the book, so turned to his foot for entertainment.  Overall, we had a pleasant trip!  The kids were well behaved.
The Tetons--notice the lack of very much snow on the road & off the road.  (And try NOT to notice the crack in our windshield.)
Now we must be in Wyoming, because Brienna is taking a picture of her (not driving!).  With good roads & only 3 stops (1--change drivers in Wyoming; 2--lunch break in Jackson; 3--pit stop in Dubois, WY), we made it to my parent's house by 4 pm.  My mom made the most delicious ham & beans with scrumptious homemade scones (& honey butter).  Yum, Yum!
The next day we were able to play with Kailey & Alyssa (my niece Tina's girls).  The kids like to play with their cousins & Emmalee & Kailey soon had their imaginations running wild!
Brienna, Emmalee, Benjamin, Kailey, Alyssa, my sister Laurie & Callum at my parent's house.
Emmalee put all the checkers in the Connect 4 game, and had 1 black checker left--so she gave herself a black eye!  Too cute.
 My mom--I love her!
 Benjamin playing Trouble.
"Twins"--Zane & Ben have the same coat (just a few sizes different.)
And Emmalee doesn't like to pass the opportunity to get her picture taken too!  (Ben is showing off his "new" teeth here).
