Pumpkin Decorating

WARNING:  tons & tons of pictures!

This is first of many posts about Halloween.  I FINALLY  got all the pictures downloaded on the computer & edited.  So here it goes:
 gutting the pumpkins
No--we didn't grow these wonderful pumpkins.  I got a great deal at Wal-Mart
Benjamin woke up from him nap, only to climb on the bench & fall asleep again.

Emmalee thought the pumpkin guts were quite funny!
Zane & Emmalee took turns "throwing up"

It looks like Ben is praying
When Benjamin woke up, we decorated his pumpkin.  This is side 1
 and side 2
Emmalee had fun decorating her pumpkin--I love all of her expressive faces (on her, not the pumpkin!)
 side 1--a dog

She thought she was pretty strong to hold the big pumpkin!
and side 2--a pig

Callum carved his pumpkin mostly by himself this year.
ewww, gross!!!  stop picking the pumpkin's nose!!
 Brienna's pumpkin pal

Zane had to leave his carving tool in his pumpkin's head.

 Our family of pumpkins
I think they all looked great!
 Brienna's
Notice the green lights in the back ground--they were skeleton lights.

Benjamin

This is one reason I love Ben:

 He's so darn cute!!!
He loved putting Zane's football uniform on.

Awww--who can't resist loving this kid????

Zane--Candied Apples & Bike "Fun"

Zane wanted to make candied apples.  I told him could one 1 condition:
He had to clean up ALL the mess ALL by himself.
And he did.  They looked nice & pretty.  (Since I'm still not eating sugar, I didn't try one)
And talking about MESSES--Zane decided to go for a bike ride after it had rained all night & most of the day.  He came in the house claiming, "The puddle made me do it!"
He just couldn't resist riding through the nice BIG puddles.
And then he tells me--it's not too bad (that's because he only saw the front of his shirt--top picture).  And even though I treated & washed this shirt 3 times, you can still see light brown specks.  It is no longer a white shirt!

But Zane said he doesn't care--and he still wears the shirt.

Callum's 10th Birthday

I know--Callum's 10th Birthday was close to a month ago.
But here are the pictures--finally!!
Lighting his candles on his birthday pie--a few years ago he finally "discovered" that he didn't' have to have cake for his birthday.  He loves pumpkin pie, so that is what he picks now!
 Opening presents
We probably asked him if that present was from his girlfriend.

His "surprise" last present--an MP3 player!!!
I asked if he had a great birthday--and he gave me the thumbs up ;)
A week after his birthday, he had a "friends" birthday party.  He invited 4 friends over & played a few games, jumped on the trampoline, had a little water balloon fight, went on a treasure hunt, and had brownies & punch.

I can't believe that 10 years has past already--and what a miracle Callum is.  He is a blessing in our lives!
