Because of how "miserable" I felt most of the week camping, I didn't make it down to the lake only a couple of times.
The kids liked to get into the water after lunch, but before 3 pm (when the "beach" and edge of the water were in the shadows).
Thankfully Brienna, Zane, Aunt Pamela, Rusty and cousins/uncles were all kind enough to take the little ones down to the lake.
Keri (the kids' cousin) even had to "rescue" Benjamin once when he took one extra step out in the lake & ended up floating on his back. So thankful she was keeping an eye on him!
