October Update--part 1

Winter (or at least a cold, cold Fall) is settling in here!
I loved this view (and of course, the photo didn't give it any justice).  There was just a line of clouds and our friends that live up Medicine Lodge canyon/area had sunshine.
The sun was shining on the mountains while we (in town) had the cold, cloudy chill in the air.
Brienna holding her little brother Callum ;)
I love Callum's laugh--he is such a joy to be around (at least when he's happy--ha, ha!)
My precious "little" girl that is growing up quickly!
Emmalee loves to draw pictures, then cut them out and make collages.  She is an amazing artist!  And she always helps Benjamin make collages too.
We found these tights in the Halloween costumes so Emmalee decided to be a giant bumble bee.
Benjamin loves being the bumble bee also, but he didn't want any pictures.  Brienna was able to sneak this picture of him laying by Zane.
Now that the bumble bee tights are off, Ben was ready for his picture.
Zane said, "cheese" but not Ben!  I guess it wasn't his idea so he didn't want to do it ;)

Homecoming Football Game & Dance

Clark County Band playing the national anthem (Brienna & Luis Cano in the bleachers, Alberto Ruiz, Zane & Jennifer Pfenninger)
Zane--he played a lot on both offense & defense.  With only 12 boys playing 8-man football, they all see a lot of playing time!
 Zane=#61
The boys won--the mercy rule went into effect (once you are 45 points ahead, the game ends)
72 to 26!  Bobcats win :)
Rhett Egan & Zane.  Zane had 1 tackle (solo) and lots of assists.
Zane with Fernando after the game.
Zane, Brienna & Madeline Jacobson.  Maddie moved to Menan in August, so Brienna invited her for the weekend.
Ready for the dance :)

Homecoming Parade

 Zane's locker at school.
The Juniors' float--"Crunch those Tigers" (Richfield)--Frosted Flakes :)
The Freshmen--a bit scary seeing them hold hammers--to smash the tigers.
 Brienna on her float.
 Zane on his float.
 Watching the parade.
Callum on the junior high float (sitting on the far side turned around)

Black/Orange Day & Bon-Fire

Thursday was Black & Orange day.  Callum wanted orange & black hair spray in his hair.
My cute Brienna!  I love her to pieces!  She stays extremely busy with school (dual credit US History, yearbook junior editor, band, early morning seminary & piano--plus more than I can list!)
Wearing her daddy's high school football jersery :)
Emmalee and Benjamin bundling up so we can go to the bon-fire.
When we (Rusty, me & the 2 little ones) arrived, we expected to see a huge fire.  Instead, no one had brought matches/flares/flame to start it--lol!
Zane "posing" for the camera--Ben, Rusty (talking to Troy Stone) & Callum
Zane--my freshman!  I am proud of all he is doing. (football, band, student council, early morning seminary...)
They finally got the fire going--and it was the biggest one I've seen!
Boys in back:  Kaleb May, Chase Bramwell, & Tucker Farr.
Girls in front:  Josey Grover, Brienna Stewart & Joni Grover.
 fun at the fire!
 Brienna & Josey
 Zane holding Ben.
Emmalee & Ben.  According to Ben:  it was a very huge fire--bigger than mom & emmalee!
This is from about 50-75 yards away because it was burning hot!
Callum :)  He is loving Junior High!
 Nice!
 Ben, Rusty & Emmalee
 Me with Ben & Emmalee.
Everyone had to "retreat" because it was so stinking hot!
What a great night :)
