Hunting Trip--Oct. 12, 2013

Rusty and the boys went hunting on Saturday.  They left about 6:30 am, but "quietly" asked me "where is...." a few times before 6.  Needless to say, I was up early.
No wonder they didn't get anything--Callum!!  They went up Van Noy canyon (near Stoddard campground about 20 miles north of Dubois).
Okay--that's better.  Callum uses an eye patch when he shoots.
They didn't see any deer that could take a clear shot at (saw a couple dozen in trees or too far away), but...
Four elk walked just on the other side of the tree behind Callum.
It freaked Callum out a bit.  Rusty said the elk were 5-8 yards from them.  I would have been a little nervous too!
They will go out again next weekend--Rusty & Callum on Friday (Zane has a football game) & then they'll all go out on Saturday again.

Fun in Lander--July 2013

Golf from the Dollar Store.
Cousin David was a trooper & played with Benjamin all the time.  Ben loved playing with David!
Emmalee & Brienna playing outside.
Playing with the giant smiley ball.
Benjamin pretending to sleep on Grandma's couch.

De-Junking, Senior Night, & Football in Fairfield

The kids didn't have school on Thursday, Oct. 3rd so I took advantage of having babysitters & piled all our "junk" (aka--clothes stored in the shed) to the church.  I needed a place to spread out & sort so I could get rid of  a lot of clothe.  This was my pile for DI (plus 2 garbage sacks to throw out). Ended up with 14 bags of clothes.
I finished earlier than expected, and so I decided to tackle the toys--CRAZY me!  So I brought all the toys to the church too & finally quit about 8 pm.  I wasn't finished, so I went back Friday morning for about 3 hours.  I threw about 1 garbage sack away, and gave about 4 bags to DI (our thrift store in IF).  Rusty & I went to town on Friday on a date (ate at China Buffet) & so we loaded up the bags to haul to DI (and of course other shopping).
Thursday was Senior night for volleyball.  Brienna has been the manager this year, so they recognized her also.  She received a towel & wash cloth set, a signed volleyball, and a framed collage of pictures of the team & her.  Rusty got a gatorade & I received flowers.
They still look beautiful (Sunday night)
On Friday, Oct. 11th, I drove to Idaho Falls, got my hair cut, went to Chesbro's & bought some new piano music, and then did a bit of shopping.  Then I drove across the state to Fairfiled, ID (Camas County) to watch the boys play football.
 I love that #61!
I video the games, so I have very few still pictures of Zane.
They played hard, but lost 18-25.  It was a great game & was fun to watch.  Zane came home with me so he could drive & get some "night" driving for his hours on his learner's permit.  We stopped at Arco & ate a sandwich (The Eddin's family was there so we got to visit with them).
