I think Ben is happy to have Ethan home--and Callum.

Louis Lake Trip--Picnic, Animals & View

After we were done at the beach, we had sandwiches for dinner.
It was nice in the shade!
Dad had just gotten back from a quick trip to town.  Pamela discovered that she wouldn't have enough gas to get back to Lander (in her new car), and so Dad stayed for about 1/2 hour (watching everyone play in the sand) and then he drove to get some gas.  He was gone for about 2 1/2-3 hours.  He made it back just in time to eat a sandwich.
And it was good timing because the little bugs were starting to come out and bug us (Mom calls them "no-see-ems").  Dad, Carter & David putting the gas into Pamela's car.
On the drive down, we spotted a moose on the other side of Fiddler's Lake.  We drove to the other side & everyone got out to take a closer look.
From the road heading down to Lander.
On the other side of the lake--closer to the moose.
Turns out it was a young bull.
And behind him was a great blue heron bird.
I stopped at the top of the switchbacks to enjoy the view.  It had been quite a few years since I had stopped at the top.
Looking down towards Lander & Riverton.
I love visiting home & enjoying nature.

Louis Lake--Water Fun

 Ben & Brienna
Carter, Caden & David.  (Zane stayed in town--he didn't want to come to Louis Lake so he hung out with Laurie, Don & Curtis).
 Callum getting all wet.
Brienna washing off after being buried in the sand.
 Brienna & Ben
Emmalee decided not to play in the water until she was done playing in the sand.  So she was the last kid in the water.  But she had fun!
Mom even put her feet in.
 Ben & Callum
I had to tell Ben to not go any further out--I think he would have kept walking out up to his neck.
Instead, I told him to stop around his belly & then to kneel down.
Here he is sitting or squatting.
 Emmalee in the water.
The kids all had fun playing in the sand and getting wet.

Louis Lake--More Sand Fun

I just wanted to include a lot of different pictures of the kids playing in the sand.
Callum's personal "bucket" to cool off his feet.
Oops==here is another picture of Brienna being buried in the sand.
The kids decided to build a "canal" to see if water would flow in it.
 Benjamin was a great helper!
It worked short=termed.  They would have needed another 1/2 hour or so to get it so it "worked".  But it was time for dinner.
